Nigerian fintech company, Paga, has announced the launch of Business Connect & Grow (BC&G), a suite solution that enables business owners to give their customers the best possible experience.

The BC&G business solution is targeted at the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to help them build initiatives and run their businesses with ease.

BC&G is an initiative powered by Doroki, in partnership with Visa and Samsung. Doroki (formerly Paga Merchant business) is now a sub-brand under the Paga Group that is focused on business owners.

Launched amid pomp and pageantry in Lagos, yesterday, the Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Paga, Jay Alabraba, explained that the BC&G is designed to help merchants and agents run their business effectively and efficiently.

Aside from allowing digital payment for customers, he said the vision behind the new suit is to extend the services to various countries in Africa and the rest of the world.

The reason for the partnership with Paga is that they have the same vision of bringing improvement in digital payment for SMEs growth and other financial solutions.

Noting that SMEs comprise about 85% of the Nigerian economy, he assured that Paga will do all it can to help them thrive and serve their customers better.

Also commenting, Vice President/General Manager, West African VISA, Kemi Okusanya, said the business suit is meant to keep services simple, convenient and reliable.

Okusanya assured that VISA is determined to ensure that businesses, individuals, communities, countries and governments are not just surviving, but also thriving and to add value to the economy.

Explaining the rationale for choosing Paga, she said: “The reason for the partnership with Paga is that they have the same vision of bringing improvement in digital payment for SMEs growth and other financial solutions.”

She added the initiative is not just for the business, but also to transform the SMEs space completely, seeing as they are the engine of the economy, which is the motive behind Doroki.

On her part, the General Manager, Sales Development, Doroki, Arike Okulowo, said the BC&G business solution provides both offline and online services as well as other services like inventory management, technical support and free publicity for SMEs.
