Bayelsa Governor pledges support, cordial relationship with Renaissance leadership

The Governor of Bayelsa State, Douye Diri, today, pledged his administration’s ‘support and cordial relationship with the Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited.

The Governor expressed the support when he and his Deputy, Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, led other members of the state executive to receive the leadership of Nigeria’s leading energy operator, Renaissance Africa Energy Company Limited, at the Government House, Yenagoa.

The Governor expressed pride in the ‘Nigerianness’ of the leadership of Renaissance, while assuring of his support much more than the state gave to the previous operator of the joint venture assets in the state.

Renaissance succeeds The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited as the operator of the NNPC/Renaissance/TotalEnergies/AENR Joint Venture.
