Dr. Chijioke Nwaozuzu, is the Director, Emerald Energy Institute for Petroleum and Energy Economics and Policy, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He was recently appointed the Chairman, Presidential Visitation to the Federal College of Education Kano. He had also served as the Director, External Affairs at the African Business School, Abuja, 2011-2013, and also the Technical Adviser to the Chairman, National Refineries Special Task Force, Abuja (2012). He holds Specialized MBA in Oil & Gas Management and a PhD in Downstream Petroleum Management & Policy from the Centre for Energy, Petroleum, Mineral Law & Policy (CEPMLP), University of Dundee, Scotland in 2004 and 2010, respectively.
Dr. Nwaozuzu has consulted for numerous international and domestic companies, including Oracle Energy Corporation based in Vancouver, Canada and more. He is a Fellow of many professional bodies, and has received numerous awards, notably Zik Leadership Award (2015); African Leader of Integrity Award (2016); British High Commission Leadership Award (2016); Nigeria Humanitarian Icon Award (2017) and many others.
