This year’s World Congress on Sustainable Technologies (WCST-2021), seeks to bridge efforts across the natural, social and engineering sciences, the environment and development of communities
The WCST-2021 virtual conference, scheduled to hold from December 7 to 9th is themed: Sustainability and Policy, the organisers said in a statement posted on the Congress’ official website.
The statement reads: “The congress covers a wide spectrum of topics that relate to sustainability, which includes technical and non-technical research areas. It also encourages sharing new knowledge in the field of sustainable technologies and the environmental impacts.
“The objectives of WCST are to provide the opportunities for collaboration and reflection that have the potential to greatly enhance the infrastructure and capacity for conducting and applying art, science and technology for sustainability.”
Topical areas of focus during the Congress include: Carbon and Emission, Education, Environmental Challenges, Green Computing Operation, Optimization and Servicing, Power Plant Technologies, Renewable Energy Managements, and Sustainable Building Design
Others are Food Engineering, Sustainable Technologies, Sustainability and Policy Trends, Finance and Planning, Waste Management, Nano Science, Cybernetics, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Water Resources Management
The Congress explained that the COVID-19 pandemic and consideration for the health and safety of participants as ongoing travel constraints makes it imperative to the WCST-2021 proceedings online.
